Materials & Applications for Branded Environments

WallScapesCo delivers environmental graphics across a wide range of commercial environments—offices, storefronts, institutions, and event spaces—using materials selected for the space, surface, and intended lifespan.

From wall graphics and window film to PVC-free solutions and optically clear architectural applications, we support branded environments that are built to perform in the real world.

Every environment has different requirements.

A reception feature wall is not the same as a street-facing window graphic. A short-term product launch requires different materials and installation planning than a permanent workplace branding rollout.

WallScapesCo works with agencies, designers, and brand teams to select materials and applications that align with:

  • Indoor vs. outdoor exposure
  • Temporary vs. long-term lifespan
  • Surface type and texture
  • Lighting, sightlines, and privacy needs
  • Durability, cleanability, and traffic level

Printable Graphic Films (Vinyl and Non-PVC Options)

High-performance printable films are widely used for environmental graphics because they are versatile, durable, and suitable for a wide variety of surfaces and environments. 3M, for example, offers printable wrap films designed for multiple applications including walls and signage.

For projects where sustainability requirements matter, WallScapesCo can also support PVC-free film options. 3M’s Envision SV480mC is a non-PVC print wrap film, and Avery Dennison’s MPI 1405 is explicitly positioned as PVC Free.

For many applications—especially in higher-traffic areas—printed graphics are commonly protected with overlaminates to support abrasion resistance and durability. Avery Dennison describes DOL 6460 as a premium overlaminate designed to protect printed decals and support durability and abrasion resistance.

Window graphics often require specialized materials depending on whether the application is about branding, privacy, visibility, or optical clarity.

Common material categories include:

  • Etched / Frosted Glass Film for privacy and refined brand presence (e.g., ORACAL 8510 is designed for decorative applications on glass and an etched-glass look).
  • Optically Clear Printable Film for high-clarity architectural window graphics (e.g., ORAJET 3952F is positioned for extremely clear decorative architectural window graphics).
  • Changeable / Removable Window Films for campaigns and short-term messaging (e.g., 3M IJ61 is a changeable window graphic film designed for windows and glass).
  • Perforated Window Film (One-Way Vision) for exterior-facing messaging with interior visibility (Contra Vision provides technical data sheets for perforated window films and privacy window film solutions).

For certain exhibits, installations, and branded environments, fabric-based graphics can be a strong choice due to portability, finish, and visual impact. WallScapesCo supports projects that incorporate fabric-based graphic elements when the environment, structure, and intended duration call for it.

Some branded environments require more than printed graphics—such as dimensional signage, architectural accents, structural wraps, or custom built elements. WallScapesCo supports custom-fabricated components through qualified partners and coordinated installation where required.

Applications by environment

Indoor Applications

Designed for brand expression, culture, and navigation in commercial interiors:

  • Reception and lobby branding
  • Feature walls and culture walls
  • Meeting rooms and collaboration spaces
  • Corridors, transitions, and interior storytelling
  • Interior glass privacy and branded partitions

Designed for durability, exposure, and visibility:

  • Storefront window graphics
  • Exterior-facing architectural glass graphics
  • Building-facing brand messaging
  • Outdoor campaign windows and seasonal installs

Material selection is driven by exposure, adhesive performance, and lifespan expectations.

WallScapesCo supports environments across different time horizons:

  • Temporary: campaigns, launches, pop-ups, short-term windows, event environments
  • Semi-Permanent: seasonal programs, phased rollouts, evolving workplace environments
  • Long-Term: core workplace branding, architectural graphics, durable interior programs

This is where changeable window films and high-clarity architectural films can be useful depending on the use case.

Installation and real-world performance

Materials are only one part of the outcome. Performance is driven by real-world execution:
